Intravenous Sedation
Sedation for nervous patients is readily available, subject to prior discussion with the dentist.
We use three sedation techniques,
- Gas
- Penthrox inhaler
- Intra-venous (I.V.)
- Sedation can be used for practically all dental procedures.
- For wisdom teeth, sedation is safe and in most cases, eliminates going to hospital and having general anaesthetic.
- Have teeth treated under I.V. sedation, it minimises pain, anxiety and discomfort. It can also save a lot of expense as well.
